Copyright / DMCA

VideoGrab respects the rights of copyright owners. VideoGrab is a tool: it does not host, store or distribute videos. When a visitor submits a link, the file is fetched from the platform that hosts it, prepared temporarily, delivered to that visitor, and then deleted from our server automatically.

If you are a copyright owner

If a video that belongs to you — or that you represent — can be downloaded through VideoGrab and you want that stopped, send us a takedown request. For every valid request we **permanently block that video on VideoGrab**, so it can no longer be downloaded, transcribed or thumbnailed through this site, in any link form.

What to include in your request

  1. Your full name, and your relationship to the work (owner, or authorised agent of the owner).
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work that has been infringed.
  3. The exact video link (URL) that should be blocked — one link per video.
  4. Your contact email address, so we can confirm when the block is done.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in your request is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

How to send it

Send your request through our contact page, writing "DMCA Takedown" at the start of your message and including everything listed above. Requests sent any other way may take longer to reach the right place.

What happens next

If your video was blocked by mistake

If you believe a video you own or have the right to was blocked in error, contact us through the contact page with the video link and an explanation. We review every such message and will restore access where the block was genuinely a mistake.

A note to visitors

Only download content that you own or have permission to use, and respect the rules of the platform each video comes from. See our Terms of Use for the full rules.
