Terms of Use

Last updated: 21 October 2026

By using VideoGrab you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What the service does

VideoGrab is a tool that, for a link you provide, fetches a publicly available video from a supported platform or website and offers it to you as a downloadable file (MP4 video or MP3 audio). For YouTube links it also offers video transcripts (where captions exist) and thumbnail images in several sizes.

2. Your responsibility for content

3. Public content only

The service works only with content that is publicly accessible without logging in. It does not access private accounts, does not bypass paywalls or privacy settings, and does not circumvent technical protection measures. Some platforms restrict downloading by design (for example, Vimeo requires a Vimeo account login); such content is not available through this site.

4. Accounts

5. Acceptable use

6. Availability and accuracy

The service is provided "as is". Platforms change their systems from time to time, so a particular video, quality, transcript or thumbnail may not always be available. We give no guarantee that any specific download will succeed.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VideoGrab and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from content you download through it.

8. Changes

We may change these terms or the service at any time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
